Harpists, Nicanor Zabaleta and Susanna Mildonian brought the piece to the attention of harpists for a while before fading into the sunset. Angel Padilla Crespo reintroduce it to the harp population in the early 2000’s. Hearing him play the piece live in Salt Lake City at the Lyon and Healy Fifth International Harp Concert Series in 2005, and purchasing his CD, Harp, began Munger’s interest in the piece. Finding no harp arrangement, Munger set out bring the piece yet again to harpists with this publication specifically for pedal harp.
